If a tree is too large to rig safely, or the access is too tight for a rigging crew to work without risking damage to the structure or neighboring property, we have the equipment to handle it differently. The ISA Certified Arborist credential requires passing a comprehensive exam on tree biology, tree identification, pruning standards, risk assessment, and tree care practices. It also requires ongoing continuing education to maintain. Having that credential on staff means we evaluate trees and recommend work based on professional training, not just experience alone. It also means we can provide the written arborist reports that HOAs, municipalities, and insurance companies sometimes require.
We own and operate a crane, a grapple truck, commercial stump grinding equipment, a full complement of climbing gear, and the support vehicles to deploy a complete crew. Owning this equipment means we control our own schedule and our own pricing. We're not calling a crane company and adding their markup to your bill. The equipment cost is in our overhead, and that's reflected in our pricing structure for the jobs that need it.

If we walk the property and the job is more complex than your description suggested, we tell you during the estimate visit, not after we've already started cutting.
